Relaunch of Shikai Restaurant. One word that pops into your head when people say "Shikai Restaurant" is duck because that's what their famous for. Last Friday, Shikai Restaurant had a reopening of the restaurant with new Malay partners running the show. The Shikai Group of Restaurants is now jointly owned by Datin Mahani Dato Abu Zar, spouse of Dato Yussof, DM of MOC, Tse Tow, Phillip Lim, Tarmizi Dato Yussof and Fadli Dato Yussof.

The restaurant began its business back in 2005 and the word "Shikai" comes from a Japanese word meaning "Four Seas". Most of the chefs are Indonesian Muslims and they will do their best to cook delicious cuisine for the patrons.

Soon, Shikai will be opening their own Home Kitchen where they will sell on pastries such as cakes and cookies. In attendance was the High Commissioner from Singapore, the Philippines Ambassador as well as the Deputy Minister of Communications, Dato Yussof and Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Communications, Hj Alaiuddin.

Shikai Restaurant is located at Batu Bersurat, not far from Red Canopy Cafe.
