Gone are the days of "The Bunker" located at the Country Club at The Empire. Now The Empire Hotel & Country Club has newly launched its new upscale clubhouse restaurant - "Bunker Bistro". The atmosphere has a classic feel and the view outside overlooks the putting green. There are choices of local and international dishes but during our pit stop, most of us had - "The Bunker Sizzler".

There's the 18th Hole Caesar Salad or the Golf Shop House Salad. For a healthier option, you can try the Chicken Quesedilla. The Bunkey Bogey Burger also looks inviting with its 100% juicy prime minced beef.

As for sweets, their trademark speciality is the Knickers Bocker Glory - layered with fruit salad, chocolate sauce, cleverly mix of ice cream, chocolate rice, maple syrup and topped with a whisk of whipped cream. I did enjoy the All American Banana Split and the Creme Caramel with Almond Croquant **yumm**

The Bunker Bistro is located at the Empire Country Club and operates from 10am to 10pm on Monday to Thursday meanwhile starts with breakfast at 6.30am on Friday to Sunday, closing at 10pm. For further information or reservations, please contact Bunker Bistro at 241 8888.
