Pg Joanda still leads the pack. Are you one of the contestants of the Baiduri Masters? So far 206 players have participated in the tournament in Day 2 and there are four days left in the tournament. Some players rejoined the tournament to increase their chance of winning the 5 units of luxury cars as hole-in-one prizes.

Men’s Open Category
Pg Mohd Joanda Pg Hj Hidop carded a gross of 72, beating his own previous score of 76, thus maintaining lead position in this tournament. He is followed closely behind by Dennis Koh and Imay Hendra, both of whom scored 73 with only 1 stroke off the lead.

Senior Category
Pg Rakawi carded a 75 gross to come in top in this category, followed by Yong Ying Chong with 76 gross and Hj Mohd Roger with 76 OCB.

Ladies Category
Norhayati Bte Hj Masri continues to maintain her lead with a score of 84 gross.

Junior Category
Mohd Qazzri Fakhri continues to maintain his lead with a score of 91 gross.

This week’s tournament will end today, resuming next Friday with one session, two sessions on Saturday and the last session on Sunday morning. The rush for registrations is on and the organizers are reporting numerous calls for late registrations. Registrations will be received on a first-come-first-served basis.

The charity golf event is organized annually by Baiduri Bank Group with the support of their strategic partners QAF Eurokars Sdn Bhd, QAF Auto Sdn Bhd, QAF Brunei, Ben Foods (B) Sdn Bhd, RBA Golf Club Sdn Bhd and media supporter Brunei Press Sdn Bhd. The Baiduri Masters, now in its 14th year continues to be the largest golfing event in Brunei, promoting an enjoyable game of golf and charity.

Proceeds from the tournament will be channeled to a number of local charities and welfare bodies that provide help and support for individuals with special needs. Last year’s event raised BND 88,000.
