Enjoy Sichuan food at Emperor's Court. Great news for Sichuan food lovers as Royal Brunei Catering has invited chefs from five-star Jinjiang Hotel in Sichuan Province, China to showcase varieties of Sichuan delicacies from 26 July to 8 August 2010 at Emperor’s Court.  The two invited chefs from Sichuan with more than 20 years culinary experiences are now available at Emperor’s Court to present you the popular Sichuan style cooking including “Couple” Beef with Beef Maw Sichuan Style, Double Boiled Beef Slices / Fish Fillet with Dried Chili Sichuan Style, Braised Fish with Hot Bean Paste Sauce, “Yuanyang” Steamed Boat Sichuan Style and many other choices…

The launching ceremony of the Sichuan Food Festival was officiated on 26 July at Emperor’s Court by His Excellency Mr. Min Yongnian, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Embassy of  the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam and witnessed by RBC Chief Operating Officer, Mr Mahadzir bin Zakaria.

RBC Chief Operating Officer conveyed his gratitude to the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam for launching the food festival. Special thanks also extended to RBC co-business partner Baiduri Bank and all promotion partners including Royal Brunei Airlines, Jinjiang Hotel in Sichuan, Gropoint Sdn Bhd and Cityneon Displays & Construction Sdn Bhd for their contribution towards the promotion.

Promotion includes Daily A’la Carte for Lunch & Dinner; Semi Buffet Dinner on every Wednesday at B$30.00 for adult and B$16.00 for Child; Sichuan “Yuan Yang” Steamed Boat on every Friday Night at B$28.00 for Adult and B$15.00 for Child.

It's bigger than before. This is a good opportunity if you are seeking a post at BSP or BLNG, then you can drop by @Sutra Hall, Rizqun Hotel International today (last day) until 5pm. There will be a few career/scholarship talks for those interested but the scholarship talks are being set already for different local schools. According to some of the exhibitors, the students don't have much knowledge on the job scope of the respective positions at BSP. For instance, in the finance department, you'll be surprised that it's more than just staying in the office. You need to be out there in the open, build relationships, fly here and there and so forth. So don't think finance is just strictly indoors ;)

So far the responses have been great and more schools are beginning to be aware of the opportunities from BSP and BLNG. The downside is that they will only accept scholarship for Brunei citizens. Do drop by @Sutra Hall today and get more ideas on the positions that you might want to pursue. This is also ideal for students who just graduate too as they will have a fare idea on what they can pursue.

I feel like on top of the world. This was definitely a worthwhile experience. To dine at Sirocco, the world's highest al fresco restaurant, which is located on the 63rd floor of The Dome at lebua. This is probably the best view if you want see Bangkok city and the Chao Phraya river. I haven't had a proper fine dining in a long time and that moment suited the occasion.

There's also a live jazz music to entertain the guests and my dining experience was phenomenal. This is probably the ideal place to bring your loved ones to bring your dining experience to a whole new level. Food wise, it's pretty good and I had prawn for dinner but I love the dessert.

So if you happen to be in Bangkok, give this fine dining restaurant a go and appreciate the ambience. That alone is already priceless. That night, I was already surrounded by my loved ones and that my friend was AWESOME!!
